Arab League rejects all unilateral Israeli steps

The Arab League has rejected all unilateral Israeli steps undermining the two-state solution of Palestine issue.

In a joint declaration issued on conclusion of a summit in Saudi city of Dharan, the Arab leaders stressed the importance of a comprehensive and lasting peace in the Middle East as a strategic Arab option embodied in the Arab Peace Initiative, adopted by all Arab countries at Beirut Summit in 2002.

It called upon the international community to implement the UN resolutions on Middle East.

It demand implementation of all the Security Council resolutions concerning Al-Quds, stressing the invalidity of all Israeli measures aimed at changing the features of East Al-Quds.

It called upon the world countries not to transfer their embassies to Jerusalem or to recognize it as the capital of Israel. APP/AFP
