Sharjeel-Shahzaib to approach court against PCB

LAHORE: The Pakistan Super League corruption scandal continue to haunt Pakistan Cricket as both key suspects have now decided to approach court over the issue of the cancellation of the central contract by the PCB.

Sharjeel Khan and Shahzaib Hassan have reportedly decided to move to court to challenge suspension of their central contracts by the cricket board until probe of Pakistan Super League 2017 fixing scandal is concluded.

Sharjeel Khan and Shahzaib Hassan have decided to follow suits of Khalid Lateef who had earlier challenged the suspension.

According to the counsel for Sharjeel, the evidence provided by the board is inconclusive. He announced to challenge interim suspension of his client after May 10.

Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Lateef were flown back to Pakistan immediately after allegations of establishing contact with bookies in Dubai during Pakistan Super League 2017.

Both the players who played the inaugural match of 2017 installment of PSL for Islamabad United were lodged a probe against by Pakistan Cricket Board.

Other cricketers were also included as the probe matured.
