JAMAICA: Pakistan Cricket Team which is in West Indies for a long tour is playing a three day match against the West Indies President XI ahead of the Test Match series.
West Indies President XI scored 311-5 against Pakistan on the first day of the three-day tour match at Trelawny Stadium on Saturday.
Batting first after winning the toss, the host’s SO Hetmyer made 97 off 144 balls while KO Powell scored 58 off 153 before being run out by Asad Shafiq. VA Singh and RA Reifer remained unbeaten 81 and 36, respectively.
Mohammad Amir led the pace attack with 2 wickets. Mohammad Asghar and Yasir Shah trapped one wicket each.
