Mashal Khan murder: CJP takes suo moto notice

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar has taken notice of the lynching of Abdul Wali Khan University’s student by a mob over alleged blasphemy charges.
According to a press release, the notice was taken on a news item published in a section of media containing the details of the incident.
Taking notice of the matter, the CJP has called for a report from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) IGP within 36 hours.
