Asif Zaradri breaks silence over AD Khwaja and missing aides

ISLAMABAD: Former President Asif Zaradri has informally kicked of his election campaign with increased presence and media talks.

Former president Asif Ali Zardari finally broke his silence on the removal of Sindh IG AD Khawaja saying that following the 18th Amendment decision of appointing IG lies with the province.

In an interview on Sunday the PPP co-chairman said that if AD Khawaja was a good officer so were others.

Speaking about his aides who have gone missing during the past three weeks, Zaradri said that it did not stop him.“It doesn’t matter how many of my men disappear,” he stresses

Taking a jibe at the prime minister, he said that Nawaz was now wearied and he [Zardari] will make sure that PPP exhausts him.

He further said that the federal government gave nothing to the Sindh government.
