India launches projects worth millions in Afghanistan's Nangarhar near Af-Pak borders 

KABUL: Indian government launched projects worth million in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province near Afghan-Pak border.

 

Afghan officials claimed that three projects worth USD 2 million will be launched which are a part of India’s development funds for Afghanistan.

 

The projects include construction of compound, health clinic in Achin district and irrigation project in Jalalabad.

 

India is among the main donors who funded the reconstruction of Afghanistan.

 

Indian Ambassador to Afghanistan Manpreet Vohra and Afghan officials also signed 12 Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) in the presence of Afghan CEO Abdullah Abdullah.

 

India also committed USD 2 billion for rebuilding Afghanistan and its economy.
