Ayyan Ali files contempt of court plea in SC


ISLAMABAD: Dollar Girl Ayyan Ali has submitted a contempt of court plea in Supreme Court here at today for not removing her name from Exit Control List despite of SC verdict.

 

As per details, the contempt of court  plea was submitted by her counsel, stating that her name has not yet been removed from ECL by interior ministry despite court verdict.

 

Interior Ministry and Karachi Airport In-Charge have been mentioned in her plea by Ayyan Ali.

 

She took plea in her petition that reminder notices have also been sent to interior ministry for removing her name from ECL but they ignored all the notices despite of court orders.

 

She requested in her petition to court for taking action against interior ministry secretary and Karachi airport In-Charge because they committed contempt of court for not obeying court verdict.

 

It is also worthy to mention here that Sindh High Court allowed Ayyan Ali for leaving abroad last month but review petitions had been filed by interior ministry and custom officials against the verdict of Sindh HC.

 

Supreme Court three member bench also rejected the review petitions of interior ministry and custom officials on April 13 and upheld the verdict of Sindh HC in this regard.
