Draft law to obtain financial crimes evidence from abroad finalised

Minister for Law and Justice Farogh Naseem says his Ministry has finalized the draft of legislation to obtain evidence from foreign jurisdictions about financial crimes and corruption cases involving Pakistanis.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, he said a meeting of all stakeholders will be held next week to share the details of Mutual Legal Assistance bill.
The Minister said there is a need to bring changes into accountability law for empowering NAB.
He also announced that necessary amendments will be introduced in civil law to provide speedy justice to the masses.
