Muslims attacked in Jammu for slaughtering camel on Eid
ISLAMABAD (APP): The puppet authorities imposed curfew in Rajouri district of Jammu region on the second successive day, on Thursday.
According to KMS, the curfew was enforced on Wednesday after tension over an assault on some members of the Muslim community by Hindu extremists for slaughtering a camel on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
As the news about assault spread, people from Muslim community assembled and held protest against the assailants demanding their immediate arrest.
The authorities have deployed Indian Army to prevent demonstrations against the assault.
Meanwhile, the situation is tense and Indian army is patrolling the sensitive areas of Rajouri.
