IOK: JRL hails Kashmiris for once again boycotting election
In occupied Kashmir, Joint Resistance Leadership has urged India to pay heed to the clear message emanating from Kashmiris' rejection of the election drama in the valley.
In a statement in Srinagar, Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik hailed the people of Kashmir for once again boycotting the sham local bodies’ election.
They said people once again rejected the forcibly thrust, sham and futile exercise of so-called election as there was a nearly total boycott.
The Joint Resistance Leadership said reason and humanity demands that instead of going for cosmetic measures to continue the status quo, India should pay heed to the message from the people and resolve the dispute.
