SP Tahir Khan Dawar murder: Pakistan to act against culprits even on other side of border
PESHAWAR – Pakistani authorities have decided to take action against the culprits of the murder of SP Tahir Khan Dawar even on the other side of the border.
Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Khan Afridi on Thursday renewed vow to take case of brutal murder of valiant Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Superintendent Police (SP) Tahir Khan Dawar to its logical end.
He was addressing presser here in Peshawar along with the brother of martyred police official. He added, “Pakistan will seek reply from Afghanistan on diplomatic level. The culprits will be brought to justice whether they are on the other side of the boder.”
“The son of the soil was viciously murdered in Afghanistan. Several questions emanated from refusal of Afghan officials to hand dead body of the martyred [SP Tahir Khan Dawar] to Pakistan’s diplomatic mission in Afghanistan”, Afridi was quoted as saying.
The minister questioned Afghanistan’s suspicious behavior on the issue.
