PM Imran Khan ordered severe crackdown across country

ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Imran Khan has ordered severe crackdown across the country.
He has directed the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Thursday to conduct an “immediate crackdown” against hundi and hawala operators conducting their businesses in the country.
According to a statement released by the investigative agency, the premier, ordered a country-wide action against illegal channels of fund transfers and asked for a report to be submitted on November 24.
The FIA also announced that all field units should be apprised about instructions laid out by the PM and called for each zone to ensure a total of five raids daily, as the matter is of high-priority.
Raiding parties are also directed to seize gadgets and out material that reveals information on the passage on funds out of the country. The authority also maintained that a forensic audit shall also be conducted.
