ISLAMABAD - Leader of banned outfit Jamaat-ud-Dawa Maulana Abdul Rehman Makki has been arrested.
Leader of banned outfit Jamaat-ud-Dawa Maulana Abdul Rehman Makki has been arrested over hate speech, citing sources, on Wednesday.
As per details, the JuD leader was arrested during the crackdown against outlawed organisations.
He is accused of hate speech in Gujrat against the crackdown launched by the federal government against the proscribed organisations.
Makki has been arrested under the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) Act.
Earlier on, April 12, Pakistan launched guidelines for the implementation of UNSC 1267 Sanctions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad.
