PTI government targets 7% growth rate in order to provide ten million jobs

ISLAMABAD - Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary has said the government targets to achieve six to seven percent growth rate in order to fulfill the promise of providing ten million jobs to the youth.
Talking to the News and Current Affairs Channel of Radio Pakistan on Friday, he said the survey of International Republican Institute has once again confirmed that Prime Minister Imran Khan is the most popular leader of the country and the PML (N) and the PPP are not even close to the PTI's popularity.
Fawad Chaudhary said eighty three percent respondents have also reposed their confidence on the transparency and impartiality of the general election. This shows the confidence of the people on the electoral system.
He said the people also stand by democracy as fifty nine percent of respondents have thrown their weight behind the system.
Responding to a question about the mass shooting incident at Christchurch, the Information Minister said this attack on Muslims is a manifestation that Islamophobia is penetrating into the Western society.
He said extremism is the most serious global issue and a close international cooperation is required to deal with it.
