David Hale, Ishaq Dar agree to enhance bilateral trade ties

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar says Pakistan is keen to further expand economic ties with the United States to explore opportunities for generating jobs and realizing the full economic potential of bilateral relations.
Talking to US Ambassador David Hale in Islamabad on Wednesday, he urged US investors to explore Pakistan as an investment destination. He said that reputable international firms and investors, from Europe and Asia, are investing in Pakistan.
He expressed confidence that the two countries will continue to work together for the promotion of bilateral relations.
Ishaq Dar assured his full support to US investors interested in pursuing investment opportunities in Pakistan.
During the meeting, current status of trade, investment and economic ties between Pakistan and the US also came under discussion during the meeting.
Ambassador Hale said that the US Embassy will continue encouraging more US investors to take advantage of the attractive investment opportunities in Pakistan.
He said that the US relationship with Pakistan is a strong, long-term, and broad bilateral partnership with many shared interests.
