ISLAMABAD, (APP): Pak-Cricket: Senate Committee to scrutinize cricket and PCB
A meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Inter-Provincial Coordination will be held on June 20 here at Parliament House.
The committee would be chaired by Senator Mir Kabeer Ahmaed Muhammad Shahi.
According to the notice of Senate Secretariat, the Committee would discuss on the lackluster performance of Pakistan cricket team at Asia Cup, 2016 and ICC World Twenty-20, 2016. It would take punitive action against those responsible for its debacle.
It would also discuss the rating in one Day Internationals (ODI) and T20 of the Pakistan Cricket and take remedial measures /proposals for its swift improvement.
The committee would be also briefed on criteria/procedure for selection of the members of PCB Governing Board.
