Situation regarding coronavirus in country improving: Chairman NDMA July 15, 2020

ISLAMABAD-Chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Lieutenant General Muhammad Afzal says situation regarding coronavirus in the country is improving.
He stated this in a meeting with Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar in Lahore, to discuss measures to contain coronavirus pandemic in the province.
Chairman NDMA said the death rate has come down and the number of people on ventilator have also decreased.
He said the smart lockdown is showing very positive results.
Lieutenant General Muhammad Afzal said the Federal Capital Isolation Hospital has been constructed at a cost of 44 million dollars with help of China, where treatment would be provided for the epidemic diseases.
He said forty kanals of land has also been allotted for building six more hospitals.
