ISLAMABAD-President Dr. Arif Alvi says the government's strategy of smart lockdown has led to containing spread of coronavirus pandemic in the country.
He was speaking at MoU signing ceremony of High Speed Mobile Broadband launching project in Islamabad on Wednesday.
The President said the world has emulated Pakistan's smart lockdown strategy against COVID-19.
He said the government is simultaneously fighting on the fronts of economy and health in the wake of Coronavirus outbreak.
He said the media also played a positive role in combating the pandemic.
Dr Arif Alvi said Pakistan is fast adopting modern technology. He said access to broadband throughout Pakistan is very important.
