Shehbaz trying to make Mohmand Dam controversial: Ali Muhammand

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan said opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif was trying to make the Mohmand Dam controversial.

The entire opposition had adopted a non-serious attitude regarding the dams as evident from walking out of the National Assembly session for not listening answers to the allegations levelled by them, he said talking to a private news channel.

He said Shehbaz Sharif should have the courage to face the reality after raising objections regarding the Mohmand Dam.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government, he said, had no objection if anybody wanted to go the National Accountability Bureau regarding the matter as it strongly believed in the supremacy of law. It was working to strengthen the national institutions and not the individuals, he added.

He said Prime Minister Imran Khan had nothing to do with the matters pertaining to his sister Aleema Khan and the courts and NAB were there to decide if anyone had any objection in that regard.
Ali Muhammad Khan said the prime minister would attend the next NA session.
