Pakistan knows how to deal with Indian aggression: Defence Minister

ISLAMABAD - Four soldiers of Pakistan Army have embraced martyrdom in unprovoked Indian firing at Jandrot-Kotli Sector along the Line of Control (LoC).

The troops were busy in line communication maintenance when they were fired upon and hit by heavy mortar round by Indian forces.

Three Indian soldiers were also killed and several others injured in the exchange of fire.

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has strongly condemned the unprovoked firing by Indian troops along the LoC.

In a statement, he paid tributes to the sacrifices of the security personnel for the motherland.

Minister for Defence Khurram Dastgir also strongly condemned the unprovoked firing by the Indian troops at Line of control.

He expressed deep grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of four soldiers of Pakistan Army.

The Minister said India cannot divert our attention from war on terror by engaging us at LoC and we know how to deal with the Indian provocations.

He said the entire nation stands by the Pakistan Army.
