Five soldiers martyred, six other injured in Balochistan

QUETTA - Five security forces soldiers have been martyred and four other severely injured in Turbat area of Balochistan.

As per the initial media report the security forces were patrolling the area when the terrorists ambushed the security forces vehicle and martyred 5 soldiers and injuring at least 6 others.

Security Forces also retaliated to the incidence at spot and reportedly casualties were incurred upon the terrorists.

The terrorists subsequently fled the area.

Earlier in the day Four Pakistani soldiers were martyred in result of unprovoked firing by Indian forces along Line of Control (LoC) today.

According to press release by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian Border Forces started firing at Kotli and Jandrot Sectors along LoC.

The Pakistani forces gave befitting reply and killed three Indian soldiers while several were injured, ISPR mentioned.

The military media wing further said that Indian forces started firing when Pakistani soldiers were working on boundary line.

Indian forces used heavy mortar and also targeted the civilians.
