Family of youth killed by ACLC officials appeals to CJP, COAS for justice

KARACH: Family of the youth shot dead by the officials of the Anti-Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) has appealed to Chief Justice Saqib Nisar and COAS Gen Qamar Bajwa to provide them justice.
Addressing a press conference on Sunday, Intizar’s father said that the police are trying to protect the culprits. “The police kept us in the dark and did not inform us that the ACLC had opened fire on my son,” he said.
He said that he had no hope from the police.
His aunt, while weeping, said that either provide her justice or kill her.
Asif, counsel for the family, said that the police want to protect their colleagues.
Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has taken notice of the incident and ordered the police to register the case as per will of the victim family.
