CJP Justice Asif Saeed Khosa responds over the lawyers attack on PIC Lahore

ISLAMABAD - Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khosa has condemned attack on the Punjab Institute of Cardiology Lahore and hoped that better sense would prevail in the aftermath of the incident.
Addressing a national conference on expeditious justice at the Federal Judicial Academy in Islamabad, the Chief Justice said he believes law and medicine to be the noblest of professions and called on those employed in these professions to make every effort to keep the nobility of such professions intact.
The Chief Justice also spoke of reforms brought over the last eleven months to a justice system fraught with delays.
Discussing the performance of Model Courts, he said people are provided speedy justice with the help of model courts and now litigants are requesting to shift their cases to model courts.
