PM directs KP govt to ensure provision of education, health to people of tribal districts

Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to complete construction of schools and hospitals in tribal districts at the earliest.
Chairing a meeting regarding merger of FATA with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in Peshawar, he said provision of all basic facilities of life including education and health to the people of tribal districts is top priority of the PTI government.
The Prime Minister was given a detailed briefing about progress on merging of erstwhile tribal areas with the province.
He was informed that all stages of administrative merging have been completed.
The Prime Minister directed for formation of an implementation committee, headed by Governor and Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, for each tribal district. Provincial ministers and Senators from respective district would also be included in the committee.
The Prime Minister asked Chief Minister and Governor of the province to personally visit all tribal districts and take local people into confidence regarding measures taken for the merger.
