Pakistan and India would only talk about Pakistan occupied Kashmir: Indian High Commissioner

ISLAMABAD: Indian High Commissioner T.C Raghavan said that India is ready to talk about just Pakistan occupied Kashmir in upcoming dialogues between India and Pakistan. While delivering lecture in Islamabad, he claimed that it was India which first petitioned the United Nations to intervene when the-then princely state of Jammu and Kashmir was invaded by Pakistani forces in 1947. India has a clear stance that Kashmir is the part of that state which is still under the control of Pakistan.” These remarks can create diplomatic tension between two countries. The editor of Herald magazine said that Kashmir is a controversial issue internationally and the statement of Raghavan can created problems for both countries.
