US President Donald Trump gives yet another blow to India

Washington: President Donald Trump on Wednesday said that China and India are no longer developing nations and we're taking advantage of the tag from World Trade Order (WTO).
The American President vowed to not let both countries do so at a gathering in Pennsylvania. America and China have locked horns in a trade war which has seen the US levy tariffs on China, which responded with devaluing it's currency to an 11-year low. Of late, Trump has also turned into a critical of India, describing the country as a "tariff king." Earlier this year, Trump asked the WTO to define how it designated developing nation status. The move was seen as an attempt to single out countries such as China, India and Turkey. The American President also empowered the US Trade Representative to take punitive action if any developed country is taking advantage of WTO loopholes.
