Pakistan gets diplomtic support from yet another state over Occupied Kashmir case

BAKU – Azerbaijan has said Thursday that it supports peaceful resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir issue according to the norms and principles of international law and relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council resolutions.
Press Secretary of Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Leyla Abdullayeva said the position of Azerbaijan on Jammu and Kashmir issue is consistent.
“The Republic of Azerbaijan is a member of the OIC [Organisation of Islamic Cooperation] Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir, the official highlighted.
The remarks come days after India revoked the special status of Kashmir by scrapping Article 370 and 35A of the constitution; Pakistan and Kashmiris are celebrating India’s Independence Day as Black Day against the aggressive overtures of the ruling BJP regime.
