Indian High Commission in Pakistan celebrated Independence day

ISLAMABAD - The Indian High Commission in Pakistan celebrated the Independence Day on Thursday with traditional fervour and enthusiasm as Charge d'affaires Gaurav Ahluwalia unfurled the tricolour in absence of High Commissioner Ajay Bisaria.

The High Commission also organised a cycling ride for 73 kilometres to mark 73 years of independence.

Charge d'affaires Gaurav Ahluwalia unfurled the national flag of India and read out the speech that President Ram Nath Kovind had given in his address to the nation on Wednesday evening.
