Modi's statement reflects his extremist mind: Federal Minister

ISLAMABAD: (APP) Minister for Defence production Rana Tanvir Monday strongly condemned statement of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said it manifested his policy of intolerance and interference into affairs of other states.
Talking to a private news channel, he said struggle of people in occupied Kashmir has jolted Modi who has bent upon levelling baseless allegations on others instead of fulfilling commitment made to Kashmiri people at the United Nations.
The Minister said voices were rising in India as well against human rights violation in occupied Kashmir by Indian authorities.
He said history and character of Narendra Modi shows that his policies had been anti-Pakistan and anti-muslim.
The Minister said Indian RAW's involvement in Balochistan and other areas had been proved and Pakistani government has taken up the matter on various forums.
He also urged political parties to show seriousness to the matter and get united to expose Indian Prime Minister for his anti-Muslims policies and atrocities against innocent people either it is Gujrat or Occupied Kashmir.
He said Pakistan Muslim League government under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is highlighting Kashmir issue on all local and international forum.
Rana Tanvir said the Prime Minister would also take up the issue in upcoming meeting of United Nations (UN) General Assembly.
He said the international community also think that India is using brutal force against innocent people in occupied Kashmir and the time has come to resolve this issue.
The Minister said it feels clumsy when Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders talk about good governance, corruption and terrorism in the country as all these issues were on peak in their tenure.
