Inzamam Ul Huq to be given important assignment by PCB 




LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board has offered former captain and current coach of Afghanistan cricket team Inzamam ul Haq to become the chief selector of the cricket team.

 

Source claimed that Inzamam ul Haq has been contacted by PCB and offered him the post of chief selector however, former captain has not yet decided and asked PCB officials for some time to analyze the situation before taking decision.

 

He asked Board officials to give one or two days’ time to respond to their offer and sources further claimed that some conditions have also been put before PCB officials by Inzamam to accept their offer which have been accepted by the board.

 

The decision of Inzamam ul Haq's appointment as chief selector is being expected on April 16. 





 



It is also worthy to mention here that Shahryar Khan said yesterday during the annual meeting of Board that selection committee would be announced within next couple of days.

 

On the other hand, Inzamam ul Haq would also have to review his contract with Afghan Board for his availability to Pakistan Cricket Board.
