ISLAMABAD - Former Test Cricketer Mohsin Khan to be given key post in Pakistan Cricket Board.

Former Pakistan Test cricketer and chief selector Mohsin Khan has now become a strong candidate for the post of national team manager.

The former Test cricketer had also applied for head coach and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) called him for an interview but Misbah-ul-Haq was appointed chief selector and head coach, which also angered Mohsin Khan.

Sources say that Chairman PCB Ehsan Mani spoke to Mohsin Khan a few days ago and it is likely that he will be given significant responsibility in the board.

According to sources, the former Test cricketer is a strong candidate to be the manager of the national team.

In the past Mohsin Khan's relations with Misbah-ul-Haq were good. In 2012 Pakistan became the Test number team when Mohsin Khan was the coach and Misbah-ul-Haq was the captain.
