Saudi Arabia threatens to hit back hard against sanctions

RIYADH - Saudi Arabia says it will retaliate to possible economic sanctions taken by other states due to the campaign of false allegations.
The Saudi Press Agency reported quoting an official source that if the kingdom receives any action, it will respond with greater action, and that the Kingdom's economy has an influential and vital role in the global economy.
An official source stated that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as a platform of revelation and the Qiblah of Muslims, has played a prominent role throughout history in achieving security, stability and prosperity of the region and the world. It also led the efforts in combating extremism and terrorism.
Saudi Arabia has been under pressure since senior journalist Jamal Khashoggi disappeared on second of this month after visiting the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.
