Indigenous freedom struggle in Occupied Kashmir has entered the decisive phase: DG ISPR

*LONDON - Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor has said the indigenous freedom struggle of valiant people of India-occupied Kashmir (IoK) had entered into a decisive phase, who were giving unprecedented sacrifices to attain the ultimate success.*

“Pakistan is extending only moral, political and diplomatic support to IoK people, whose ongoing struggle for freedom from Indian occupation is indigenous,” he told a group of Pakistani media persons here at the Pakistan High Commission.

“We are not providing any material support to the people of Indian occupied Kashmir,” Major General Asif Ghafoor, who is accompanying Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on his three-day official visit to the United Kingdom, said.

He said Kashmir was an issue of core national interest. The Pakistan Army wanted that it should be resolved through dialogue, keeping in the view of the best interests of Pakistan, he added.
