Pakistan beats Sri Lanka in first ODI: Match scorecard

DUBAI - Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by 83 runs in the first one-day international in Dubai on Friday, taking a 1-0 lead in the five-match series.

Pakistan piled up 292-6 with Babar Azam scoring 103 and Shoaib Malik striking a quickfire 81, before restricting Sri Lanka for 209-8 in 50 overs.

The second game of the series will be played in Abu Dhabi on Monday.
