PCB Chairman gives final verdict over Sarfraz captaincy
*ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, Ehsan Mani has finally confirmed that skipper Sarfraz Ahmed would remain captain till the upcoming World Cup 2019.*
“PCB has decided to book Sarfraz Ahmed as captain of the Pakistan cricket team till the World Cup,” said Mani while addressing to media, on Wednesday.
The PCB chief informed that the board is in talks with the Indian counterpart for the restoration of cricketing ties. “Change will come to PCB but it will take time, whereas, restructuring would take place in the organization,” said Mani.
Mani who is on a visit to Karachi, praised the city for producing great cricketing talents, terming the city the ‘nursery of Pakistan cricket.’
