Pakistan Rangers sent Mithai to Indian counterparts on Diwali at Wagah border

LAHORE: Pakistani troops presented sweets to the Indian forces and expressed best wishes for their neighbor counterparts at Wagah border on the Hindu festival of Diwali. Sweets were presented from the representative of Pak Rangers to the Indian Border Security Forces near Wagah border. Despite clashes between India and Pakistan and violation of ceasefire at LOC from India, it is a good gesture from Pakistan to present sweets on the occasion of Diwali. Last year on the occasion of 14 August, Pakistan Rangers also exchanged sweets with Indian border forces but Indian forces did not send sweets to Pak Rangers at the occasion of Eidul Fitar. Both countries relationships are critical due to the allegation of ceasefire violation and accusations of involvement in terrorism.
