Coronavirus linked deaths in India witness a new peak in dangerous situation

India records 4,000 COVID-19 deaths for third straight day today.
According to Indian health ministry data updated this morning the country has witnessed over 4000 deaths and registered 3,43,144 new cases of COVID-19 in a day.
Over 3.43 lakh fresh cases of COVID-19 have taken the overall tally of cases to 240.5 million, with active cases now at 37 lakh.
India’s cumulative toll has risen to 262,317.
