Topstar Amir Khan gives a blow to Indian PM Modi’s desires
NEW DELHI - Bollywood star Aamir Khan has ruled out the possibility of promoting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bhartiya Janta Party in the elections.
His response came a few days after the Indian prime minister urged the Bollywood celebrities to motivate people to vote this coming election.
“No, I don’t promote any political party,” Khan said when asked if he will promote the BJP in the election.
The elections in India will be held in seven phases from April 11 to May 19.
The Bollywood actor urged people of India to go out and vote. “They should all vote and make the elections a success,” he was quoted as saying by India Today link .
