Pacer Hasan Ali makes history in Pakistan Super League

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan right-arm fast bowler Hasan Ali has broken the record by becoming the first bowler to take 20 wickets or more in a single Pakistan Super League (PSL) season.

Hasan Ali, who had a poor outing with the national side against New Zealand and South Africa, has comeback extremely strongly with Peshawar Zalmi.

The previous record was shared by his team-mate Wahab Riaz and Islamabad United’s Faheem Ashraf; the pacers took 18 wickets in the last edition of PSL.

Overtaking them, Hasan Ali has already taken 22 wickets with still a few games to go. Faheem Ashraf has also broken his previous best and has 19 wickets to his name.
