RAWALPINDI - Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor on Wednesday lauded Pakistan-born Australian player Usman Khawaja over his match winning and excellent ‘Strike Rate’ against India
DG ISPR took to poplar micro-blogging website Twitter to take a jibe at Board for Cricket Control in India (BCCI).
“Very well played yet again #UsmanKhawaja. Your 100 at excellent STRIKE rate made the difference. You gave excellent performance during last three consecutive ODI contests to CAP the series”, spokesperson for Pakistan Army tweeted from his personal account. link [image: View image on Twitter] link: View image on Twitter] link

In a very deplorable move earlier this week, BCCI politicized the gentleman game when it forced its cricketers to wear the army caps. The move drew severe backlash.
Interestingly, India not only lost that One Day International (ODI) but also went on to lost the series to Aussies.
In the last three matches, Pakistan-born Khawaja made two centuries and one half-century. He received same appreciation not only from the cricket fraternity around the world but also from DG ISPR.
