Record amount of Rs 150 bln allocated in new federal budget for tribal districts: NA Speaker

Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser says a record amount of one hundred and fifty billion rupees have been allocated in the new federal budget for development of tribal districts. Addressing a function in Swabi, he said a special package will also be announced to promote trade and business activities in tribal areas. He said a new grid station will be constructed in Swabi at a cost of six billion rupees.
The speaker assured that the problem of clean drinking water in Swabi will also be solved on priority basis.
