Pakistan PM held important meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping

*ISLAMABAD: *Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday met Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the Council of Heads of State of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) meeting in Bishkek.
The two leaders exchanged views on bilateral relations and also discussing regional relations including those between Pakistan and India.
President Xi acknowledged Pakistan’s counter-terrorism efforts and its efforts to promote regional stability.
The leaders also had a detailed discussion about the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) with PM Imran reiterating it remains his government’s highest priority.
