Iranian President Hasan Rouhani hits out at US in SCO summit

TEHRAN - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has said that US actions pose a serious threat to stability in the Middle East.

Talking to head of states including China, Russia and India on the sideline of SCO summit in Bishkek today, Iranian President denied any connection with the attacks on oil tankers in Gulf of Oman.

He said Tehran asks the remaining participants in the nuclear deal to immediately their commitments.

The United States blamed Iran for attacks on two oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman yesterday that drove up oil prices and raised concern about a new U.S.-Iranian confrontation.
