PMD weather forecast predicts rain, thunderstorm

LAHORE - The Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) has predicted a likelihood of rainfall/thunderstorm in different parts of the country including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, Sahiwal, Gujranwala and Kashmir on Wednesday.
Met Office has also warned of floods due to more than usual downpour in July whereas land sliding is likely in mountainous areas.
However; the plain areas of Punjab and Sindh will reel under intense heatwave. The temperature in Lahore, Multan and Faisalabad will be between 40-44 degrees.
