ISLAMABAD - Afghan Taliban have said that European and Asian countries should guarantee implementation of a possible peace deal between them and United States.

This was stated by Deputy Head of Taliban’s political office in Qatar and head of Taliban’s negotiating team with U.S. Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanekzai while talking to a Japanese newspaper.

He said Taliban group wants Japan, among other European and Asian countries to serve as guarantors to make sure the US will withdraw its forces from Afghanistan after a deal reached.
