*ISLAMABAD - Pakistan cricket captain Sarfraz Ahmed* set a new wicket-keeping record during the final Test match against South Africa on Sunday. Sarfraz took 10 catches in the on-going Test match and surpassed Australia’s Adam Gilchrist and former Indian captain, MS Dhoni, to become the only wicket-keeper captain to reach this feat.

Furthermore, the Pakistani captain has also made another record; taking five catches in each innings of a Test match.

His 10 catches in a Test match is one better than the record previously shared by Kamran Akmal and Rashid Latif, as well.

The record comes as Pakistan faces a 3-0 whitewash threat against South Africa, a series that has been a story of question marks for the Pakistani dugout.
