Pakistan government institutions under threat of massive cyber attack

Government has issued an advisory on cyber attacks link raising high-concerns on access of hackers to personal data of users through Windows 10 and its application.
In addition to this, the government has issued another advisory and it has been sent to the secretaries including all federal, divisional and provincial chief secretaries.
As per highlighted in the advisory, the access of sensitive information of the people is being availed by hackers through Window 10 and its applications.
The advisory recommends that network administrators inform users about cyber security and that users regularly update their anti-virus.
It is important to be stated that the advisory recommended the network administrators to be responsible for maintaining cyber security by updating the antivirus regularly.
Furthermore, it is advised to the users to use Google chrome instead of Internet Explorer to fulfill the browsing and downloading purposes.
