Significant rise in petroleum prices likely by federal government

ISLAMABAD – Prices of petroleum products are likely to be increased by Rs 7 per liter from December 16.
According to a summary sent to the government regarding the increase in POL products, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has proposed an increase of Rs 7 per litre in the price of high-speed diesel and Rs 5 per litre in petrol rate.
The new prices of POL products will be announced after approval by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
