ECO states agree to enhance cooperation for development

Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Sartaj Aziz says ECO member states should explore new dimensions of cooperation for progress and development.
Speaking at the ECO Regional Planning Council meeting in Islamabad on Thursday, he called for greater rail, road and seaport linkages to increase trade besides focusing on modern technology and cyber connectivity.
Sartaj Aziz expressed the confidence that adoption of modern technology could help enhance regional trade by two to three times.
