PM Nawaz Sharif meets Turkish President Erdogan in Turkmenistan

ASHGABAT: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met and discussed bilateral matters, resolving to further cement the ties. During a meeting at the international conference related to Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality, both leaders discussed regional and security issues in the context of Afghan peace process and Syria. They also expressed satisfaction over the bilateral cooperation. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan and Turkey enjoyed cordial and historical ties. Tayyip Eradogan said that Pakistan achieved great success against terrorism, he also appreciates the Pak Army achievement against Zarb-e-Azab. Nawaz Sharif also thanked Turkey for extending cooperation in capacity building of the police. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that he felt immense pleasure over the recent progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
